Making A Way
WayMaker Plans for 2024
As we look forward to the coming calendar year we are continuing to dream of ways in which we can make a way where there is no way for more of the worlds poorest people.
We will of course continue to support the ongoing projects from 2023 such as the Nairobi Radio Station, Supporting Pastor Kevin, Pastor Goodson, StreetLife Children, etc, etc
Here are a few new things we are planning for 2024.
Official Opening of Secondary School
On the 12th of January 2024, Hazel (Andy’s wife) will, on behalf of WayMaker and Andy, travel to Kitwe Zambia to take part in the official opening of the school on the 17th of January. She will address the local Minister of Education; the local MP and other dignitaries present which will all be televised nationally.
Easter Shoe Boxes to Soldiers on Ukraine Front Line
Lifespring, one of our UK Partners, has donated a twin wheel-based trailer to WayMaker which we hope to fill with shoe boxes for the soldiers on the front line in the Ukraine. The plan would be to deliver these shoe boxes to the pastors that we equipped in 2023 so that at Easter they could give a demonstration of the love of God that sent his son to live, die and live again so they could have life to the full. We want each shoe box to be full of goodies, socks, underwear, toothpaste, toiletries and of course chocolate.
If you would like to provide a physical box (or boxes) or donate a virtual box so one of our volunteers can purchase items and pack a box for you then please get in contact with us.
Primary School in Tanzania
Part of WayMaker’s prophetic remit is to build schools in multiple nations and so we want to do a feasibility study to build a small primary school in Mbeya, Tanzania in 2024.
The feasibility study will consist of retaining an architect and quantity surveyor so we can establish the full scope and cost of the entire project. This school will not be on the same scale of the DaySpring Academy in Kitwe, Zambia but will follow the same ethos, culture and teaching program that has been so successful in Zambia.
The cost for this feasibility study is £200 and so if you are able to help by donating this amount then please let us know, or pay online or find out more just visit: https://waymaker.org.uk/mbeya-school/

Employ Staff for WayMaker Africa
One of the achievements of 2023 was the creation of WayMaker Africa as an NGO (Non-Government Organisation) in Zambia. This gives us greater access to and support from local and national government and allows us to become a charity (Public Benefit Organisation). This means all of the containers and goods we ship to Zambia are free of import taxes and duty.
As with WayMaker International in the UK, running this organisation, while considerably cheaper than in the UK, still costs money. At the moment, we employ part-time a wonderful and capable man, Goodson Kaluba, but with the plans we have for 2024, we would like to employ him full-time. This would give him the time required not only to complete all our applications for PBO but also develop the all-important relationships with government officials and local leaders as well as be directly involved with some of our food security, farming, and WaSH projects.
This would require securing a monthly donation of £200/month to add to the £200/month WayMaker already provides. If you can help just complete the form on the left
Grow StreetLife Project
The StreetLife child sponsorship program has grown considerably as WayMaker has started to administer the process which allows many individuals to take part where, in the past they were unable because their churches or organisations were reluctant or unable to provide an administrator of their own.
Currently WayMaker sends £950/month (38 children sponsored) and our objective for 2024 is to more than double that to 80 children (£2,000/month in 2024)
If you would like to sponsor a child for £25/month and help us achieve that goal, then please complete the payment here or visit https://waymaker.org.uk/sponsor-a-child/
Expand Partner Program
We believe that the most critical objective for WayMaker in 2024 is to publicise our partner program and sign up new individual, church, and organisational partners who will commit to giving monthly. This will allow us to meet our increasing need to administer all that WayMaker is doing and meet the goals we are outlining for the following year. More significant publicity will enlarge our donor base and, thus, multiply the number of projects we can support.
Our objective and budget for 2024 is to have individuals, churches and organisations commit to giving a total of £1,500/month, and if you would like to be a part of this, then complete one of the payment options here us or visit www.waymaker.org.uk/partnerprogram
Making a way where there is no way in 2024
We will also continue to look for more opportunities to plant church and construct church buildings, reach the unreached, and share the love of Jesus in as many practical ways as possible.
If you have been a supporter of WayMaker be it in prayer, with financial support or encouragement. The achievements of WayMaker this year are your achievements too!
THANK YOU!
