GoRomania 2024 is a fantastic opportunity to show God’s love, make new friendships and grow in your relationship with God. The Team will take a discipling approach so you should expect to be positively challenged! Probable opportunities include:
* working with refugees displaced from Ukraine as a result of the war.
* Serving the poorest children who live on outskirts of the city with homework, but also having fun & playing games with them
* Encouraging and doing gospel outreach with local church youth
* Sharing your testimony and sharing in Team devotional times
The UK team leader would work with Romanian hosts to manage practicalities and to ensure pastoral care.
Fundraising
WayMaker has a unique approach to mission trips and, together with JustGiving we are able to provide you with a fundraising page that you can use to do anything at all from simply asking friends and relatives to support your trip, to a sponsored run, walk or even parachute jump!
You would need to raise a minimum of the fees for the trip which is £350. if you raise less then you would be expected to make up the difference and if you raised more then the extra we would give to one of the Projects if the Brasov church that we visit on the trip.
The money you rasie would cover
* Air Fare
* Local Transport
* Accommodation
* Sightseeing trips
Here’s what some of the team members have said about GoRomania in the past:
“This trip has been a learning curve for me as God has shown me more about my giftings and his plan for my life. Most of all I have learnt that God is in everything I do.”
“Throughout this trip I have loved getting to know the girls and boys at the centres. It taught me that spending time building friendships and relationships is invaluable”
“My favourite thing was witnessing and experiencing the vibrant life and amazing talents to be found in the Zambian church…”
