An Invitation to a Miracle

When the fire ripped through our building, it felt like the end. But what if it’s just the beginning?

Today, I want to share something that has me buzzing with anticipation. Below is a glimpse of the architect’s plan for what we believe will rise from the ashes. It’s not just bricks and mortar. It’s a church home. A house of worship. An epicentre for mission. A base for apostolic advance. A community hub. A beacon of hope.

It’s bold. It’s beautiful. And it’s big.

The projected cost is £440,000. I know, it’s a big number. But I’m not scared of it. Why? Because we’ve seen God do it before. Not long ago, we raised £300,000 to build a school. People said it was impossible. God said otherwise.

Here’s the thing: What God orders, He pays for. We believe He has spoken. We believe He will provide. And we’re holding fast to that promise.

Like Abraham in Romans 4, we are fully aware of the facts. This isn’t blind faith. But without wavering, we’re choosing to believe that the God who promised is faithful. That’s what faith looks like: facing the facts, then fixing our eyes on the promises of God.

But let me say something important about provision. God doesn’t usually drop massive piles of cash from heaven. (Wouldn’t that be convenient?) Instead, He stirs hearts. He moves through many people, each responding to the prompting of the Holy Spirit. People just like you. People who look at their savings or their “just-in-case” buffer, and say, “I’m going to trust God more than I trust this security.”

We’ve seen it again and again. People give, sacrificially. And then, often in the most unexpected ways, God fills the space their generosity left behind. Jobs come. Debts disappear. Refunds land. Peace reigns. Needs are met.

Now, I’m not promising that if you give, God will send it all back to you. But here’s what I can promise: God is good. He has promised good to us. And He is no man’s debtor.

So yes, £440,000 might look impossible on paper. But I see a different picture. I see beauty rising from the ashes. I see lives changed. I see a miracle unfolding.

And I want to invite you to be part of that miracle. This isn’t just about raising money. This is about rebuilding hope. It’s about creating something beautiful for the glory of God and the good of the community.

Will you join us? Let’s build something together that only God could make possible.
