Dr Joseph Mwila and his wife Lilly are two of Andy’s dearest friends and long-time mission partners. As apostolic leaders in Zambia, they carry a big vision for church planting, education, and community transformation.   • Dayspring Ministries International (DMI) is a growing apostolic movement based in Zambia, founded by Dr Joseph Mwila. With a heart for church planting, leadership development, and community transformation, DMI exists to see lives changed by the gospel across Africa. Through local churches, training hubs, and practical outreach, DMI is equipping a new generation to bring lasting Kingdom impact.

  • Dr Joseph Mwila serves as a key member of the ChristCentral Apostolic Team, helping to strengthen churches across Africa and beyond. His apostolic gifting, deep faith, and passion for mission make him a vital part of the team’s global work. Through ChristCentral, Joseph equips leaders, plants churches, and helps shape a Spirit-filled, Christ-centred movement committed to advancing the Kingdom.

  • Dr Joseph Mwila is the visionary behind Dayspring Academy — a Christian school in Ndola, Zambia, offering high-quality, faith-based education from preschool to senior school. WayMaker is honoured to have fully funded the entire campus. Together, we’re raising a generation of young leaders equipped with knowledge, faith, and purpose.

  • Dr Joseph Mwila is one of WayMaker’s closest mission partners and serves as a Director of WayMaker Zambia, our registered NGO in-country. A respected apostolic leader, he brings wisdom, integrity, and spiritual oversight to our work across the region. His leadership ensures that projects are locally led, kingdom-focused, and strategically impactful — from education and farming to church planting and leadership development.

  • Lilly founded Streetlife Zambia to reach children living on the streets of Ndola. What started with simple meals and conversations has become a powerful ministry offering safety, education, family reintegration, and long-term support.

  • Many children in Zambia can’t afford to go to school — but your sponsorship can change that. Streetlife’s education programme provides school fees, uniforms, books, and encouragement to children who would otherwise be left behind. WayMaker acts as a hub for UK sponsors, with over 40 people already giving monthly to support a child’s future. It’s more than education — it’s dignity, opportunity, and a future full of hope.

  • Lilly runs two dedicated homes — one for boys (House of Joy) and one for girls (House of Hope) — that operate during school terms. These are not orphanages, but safe, nurturing environments for children who would otherwise be living on the streets or in overcrowded, extended family situations. Wherever possible, we work to place orphans with relatives. These homes offer food, love, shelter, and the stability needed to learn, grow, and thrive in school and in life.

  • Streetlife Zambia runs a vital food distribution programme, providing essential supplies to vulnerable children and families in Ndola. These parcels bring practical relief to those facing hunger — especially orphans, widows, and struggling guardians — and often open the door to deeper support, education, and hope. WayMaker is honoured to help make this possible.

In moments, flames took what years of prayer, generosity, and worship had built. Our beloved Kitwe church building is gone, but the mission God gave us burns brighter than ever. This is our moment to rise from the ashes, to build back better, and to create a home for worship, a hub for mission, and a place of hope for the community.     Feeding Program

    We provide over 30,000 hot meals a year to children who may only eat one proper meal a week. Each plate is a lifeline offering nourishment, love, and the chance to survive.
